Small Business Growth

While much attention is paid to bringing in new businesses to the City of Tacoma, the Hillside Development Council believes that small business growth is also essential for the city's well being. Issues facing small businesses include:

Proposed point of delivery sales tax collection requirements.
Upcoming requirement that B&O taxes be disbursed on a point of delivery basis.
Downtown parking.
Homelessness and its effect on customers perceptions in dealing with downtown businesses.
